Ashport was founded around 20 years after the Discovery of Cindris. Infrastructure started getting build and was funded by rich merchants, with a merchant called Vander Xan funding most of it. As Ashport grew even more people traveled to Cindris.
Another few years later the rich realized the country would need a leader to not fall into chaos, they decided Vander Xan would be a good leader and offered him to be crowned king, he accepted and his dynasty ruled for centuries.
Right after his crowning Vander started the Cindrisian calendar, starting on the date Cindris was discovered, everything before would be called BD (before discovery) and everything after AD (after discovery).
