Omnimagica has many names, it is the name for all magic found on PLACEHOLDER. The magic has many applications and ways to cast it tough does have a few limitations and rules

Omnimagica is powered by mana, mana is the resource used to fuel magical abilities, each category of magic gains mana in different ways.

Core rules

Omnimagica has 5 core rules:

1. Magic requires mana
   casting spells requires mana which can be gathered in many ways, each school gains mana from another source.

2. Mana is finite
   mana is finite, mana cant be gained infinitely.

3. Magic use tires the body, can make the user faint or even die.
   using magic tires the caster or with certain heavier spells the caster might faint or even die

4. Gaining mana always has a cost
   gaining mana always costs something, every school has a different cost but there is always a cost,

5. Magic has requirements
   for someone to use magic they need to be born with it, need to learn it or need to be granted it by divine beings, some magics requiring multiple

Categories

Omnimagica has 9 main categories, each having multiple schools.

1. Divine magic
   Divine magic users gain mana by prayer and worship, except for vessels who gain their mana by getting a part of the power of a god. Anyone can practice divine magic if they devote themselves to a god, tough vessel magic requires a god to choose you.

2. Soul magic
   Soul magic users sacrifice parts of their soul and body for mana, soul magic can be practiced by anyone who studies it enough.

3. Dream magic
   Dream magic users get mana by having dreams and nightmares, dream magic is a innate ability requiring the user to have lucid dreams and to be able to make the border between the dream world and the real world to fade.

4. Change magic
   Change magicians don’t get their mana in conventional ways, their magic requires everything to end up in a balance, their mana is the resource used in the spell. Change magic can be used by anyone who studies it enough to feel the balance of the world.

5. Enlightenment magic
   Enlightenment magic users gain mana from knowledge and meditation, the magic can be used by anyone that studies and meditates enough to become enlightened.

6. Sound magic
   Sound magicians gain their mana by redirecting the vibration around them to power spells, sound magic is innate requiring the user to be able to feel the vibration around them.

7. Cosmic Magic
   Cosmic magicians get mana by having stars and planets align which gives them power, cosmic magic can be learned by anyone that studies the cosmos.

8. Nature magic
   Nature magic users earn mana by using sacrificing biological material to grow stuff. Nature magic can be learned to understand the life force flowing trough plants and animals.

9. Essence magic
   Essence magicians gain mana by getting material and bend it to their will, essence magic can be learned, requiring the user to feel the mana flowing trough everything.
