The Volashnic sea is a sea bordering the PLACEHOLDER continent, the sea contains some small islands and archipelagos, most notably the Cindrisian Archipelago. The Volashnic sea was once a paradise because of stable volcanic activity that caused the area to be tropical and full of flora and fauna, both on land and in the sea. When the Volashnic Rift happened around half a millennium ago the volcanic activity increased and the sea transformed into what it is to this day, a sea with toxic water that dangerous to drink and irritating to the touch and with boiling patches of sea, toxic mists and sudden bursts of steam.
After decades of chaos and death the people of the Cindrisian Archipelago engineered ways to keep themselves safe from sea, making travel not only possible but relatively safe and filtering the water to make it drinkable.
