The main inhabitants on Telacallia often referred to as Aranea’s. Aranea’s are half spider and half human, their bottom half being spiders and their top half being human.
They reproduce by laying eggs which hatch after around 3 months, spiderlings are weaker and more human-like than adults, around the age of 24 spiderlings cocoon themselves and come out after 3 weeks. They come out stronger, have 6 eyes, have grown thick spider-like skin plates over their human half and they also can now produce silk. They live to around 90-120 years old, a bit longer than humans
The Aranea’s live inside large groups, called broods usually a brood is as big as a entire city, inside the broods people are in castes, the caste you are born in decides what you will do in life and you cant change your caste. the majority of the population accepts the caste system, followers of Arachnism believe it is needed for the sacred balance between the gods.

| Textrina Domini | The Weave Lords make sure the brood functions as a society, the make the laws and tax the Aranea Operarius so the higher caste can live without worry. |
| Sericum Magistri | Silk Masters are the high-class and the police of society, they enforce the laws set by the Weave Lords and punish those who don’t abide by them. Some silk masters also own and run factories like Weaveforge Industries |
| Aranea Operarius | The working class, the people who work and keep the economy running, most aranea’s fall into this caste. |
| Nidus Exulus | he exiled, people outside of the castes or forced outside of the castes for their crimes against the brood, most of them live in the slums of the city of exile, Exupetlia. |
Aranea’s have mostly human like traits and personalities with some differences, they are exceptionally patient, are hyper aware of their surrounding, smart and cunning. Aranea’s are empathetic but see the world through a lens of efficiency.
